Curious about gay porn? Wondering who I actually am behind the image? My friend Jean grilled me for this interview gay porn actor, and nothing was off-limits: the artistic process, the grind of the industry, my secret talents, my love life, and even life as a ‘bottom’. This is the raw, unfiltered truth of my life in the industry.
Jean: Can you tell us what led you to become a gay porn performer?
Luis: It was art, plain and simple. Back in high school, I discovered artistic nudity through the work of photographers like David LaChapelle, James Bidgood, and Robert Mapplethorpe. When I got to art school, I started with self-portraits and then moved on to modeling for friends. Those sessions naturally helped me build my confidence. I’m not exactly a modest person, though you still won’t catch me running down the street naked! (laughs)
Video came later, in my private life. I loved filming myself, but it stayed on my phone. The industry always intrigued me, though. I reached out to some gay porn studios but didn’t have much luck at first. Was it a taste for transgression or a desire for freedom? Probably both. Eventually, with the encouragement of those close to me, I took the plunge on Bluesky and OnlyFans, but only after taking the time to find my aesthetic and master the art of editing and color grading.
Jean: The public often glamorizes the life of an adult star. Is that image actually true to life?

Luis: I mean, yeah, we sleep with hot guys and we have a good time, but that’s not the whole story. There’s a lot of pressure behind the scenes. I’m a one-man show : I edit my own videos, manage my own socials… It’s a legit freelance grind !
Then there’s the technical side: some positions are incredibly uncomfortable, but they’re necessary so the viewers can actually see the action. I’m lucky, though, I’m a good bottom, and I have a lot of stamina.
Jean: Since you brought it up, you’re a bottom! Is that ever stigmatizing for you?
Luis: I honestly couldn’t care less! I love that role, and that’s only become truer over time. I love the sense of letting go that comes with it, even if I can still take the lead depending on what we decide before a shoot.
In a professional studio setting, you can sometimes feel boxed into a certain image, like being “submissive” or “fragile“, but people shouldn’t forget that the word “actor” is in “porn actor” for a reason. It’s acting. In my private life, I top too, but it’s mostly to give my partner pleasure. For the camera, I prefer being the latino bottom because that’s when I’m having the most fun, and you can really see that on screen.
Jean: No one saw this coming, but you have a hidden talent…
Luis: Yeah, I sing in French while playing the piano. It’s my sanctuary. I still play some gigs here in Paris, where I live now, from time to time.. Paradoxically, I feel like I reveal much more of myself when I’m singing than when I’m filming an adult scene. Music is therapeutic for me. I write about love, society, porn, and even my past life as a corporate executive.

Jean: How do you balance your career with your dating and social life?
Luis: Within the gay community, it’s actually great. It often fuels fantasy or a sense of admiration. My straight acquaintances can be a bit quicker to judge, but hey, you can’t please everyone!
As for my love life, I’m in a relationship. My husband is an incredible man who really encourages me. But we keep it strictly organized: we have regular check-ins to discuss the project’s progress, the “roadmap,” and my communication strategy.
Jean: And what does your family think?
Luis: That’s private. They know I’m comfortable with nudity because of my photography, but I haven’t officially “announced” anything else. I’m just living my life. My parents are amazing and they raised me to be free. I’m not going to wait until they’re gone to start living my life to the fullest.
Jean: Any regrets?
Luis: Only that I didn’t start sooner! I regret not daring to be myself a long time ago. I’d much rather risk regretting something I’ve done than live with the regret of never having tried.

Jean: How do you see your life after porn?
Luis: I’m living in the moment. I could go into video editing, consulting… I’m building up skills in a lot of different areas, though I’m not sure this is exactly the best “portfolio” for a traditional job! (laughs)
A huge thanks to Jean for these questions and for taking the time to help me put this article together! He also helped me choose the photos.
I hope this interview gay porn actor serves as a reminder: behind the images, there are real men with their own stories and sensitivities. By talking about gay porn differently, I believe we can foster more respect, nuance, and truth.
